Hi! I'm Andrea Witherspoon, an Ashe County native long recognized for my creative energies and strong work ethic. I entered the real estate profession in 1999 looking for a new challenge and a new opportunity to become even more involved in my community. In March 2001, while seeing the ongoing growth potential for the area, and realizing a dream come true, a business partner and I opened Regency Properties. $8 million in sales in our first year was quite an accomplishment in my eyes, but realizing sales in excess of $30 million in 2005 was simply awesome to me but even that was topped by sales in 2006. Potential for the coming years is quite exciting and I remain very thankful for the success my company is enjoying. Even though real estate is a demanding job, you can bet I love it! Be it on land, residential, or commercial property, you will find my expertise allows me to provide the appropriate information needed for buyers to make wise decisions and a wise investment/purchase.
I have received the prestigious CRS Designation, CRB, CLHMS, ABR was recognized nationwide as a top producer, and recognized as one of the most professional REALTORS®. In early 2007 I participated in the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and also received accolades, and in 2013 I completed the required courses for the Accredited Buyer Representative - ABR - designation. Throughout recent years, I led the Regency Properties team through difficult economic times by topping sales charts throughout the region.
On a personal note, I enjoy shopping and walking, but must of all the joy of living in my personally designed Ashe County home with my husband Kerry Witherspoon. I have two children, Courtlyn-30, and Cagney-23, and one step-son Keenan-16. I take pleasure sharing activities with them. Courtlyn graduated from Wake Forest University, a private institution located in Winston-Salem, NC with a degree in Politics and Journalism. Cagney graduated UNC-Charlotte in 2017. The entire family enjoys spending time with "the other half" --a Maltese named Saylor Pearl.
My knowledge of the area and expertise has certainly helped me become one of the areas most successful and respected brokers. Just ask me and I will gladly tell you why Ashe County is so special!
